FlashPoint provides top research-based leadership programs, as well as customized consulting to support your organization’s leaders. As a boutique firm and Woman-Owned Small Business, we can be nimble in an ever-changing landscape and work with you to achieve real and lasting results.
Today FlashPoint is a boutique leadership consulting firm working with midsize to large companies, many of them with operations around the world. And since acquiring Sonoma Leadership Systems in 2016, and Fine Points Leadership in 2020, FlashPoint is the No. 1 provider of The Leadership Challenge®. and The LPI®: Leadership Practices Inventory® leadership assessments.
Our beginnings, however, are a bit more humble. They go back to 2002, when Krista Skidmore founded our company in Indianapolis. FlashPoint’s mission in the early days was to help organizations build effective human resource programs, and most of our clients were companies located in Indiana.
How did we so successfully evolve from a boutique HR shop to a global leadership consulting firm?
First we established a strategy, defining what we wanted to look like in the future and what it would take to get there. We assessed our strengths and focused on what we needed to do better in order to grow. We set out to build a team of top talent and invested in their development.
In other words, we did for ourselves what we help our clients do every day.
Over the years we’ve learned a lot about what makes a business successful. We’ve seen the positive impact of strong leaders and teams, both within our company and in organizations we work with. We want others to experience the same transformative benefits, which is why we’re so excited by the work we do to develop meaningful workplaces where everyone can achieve their fullest potential.
Our public programs qualify for general recertification credit hours toward aPHR™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™ recertification through HRCI.
FlashPoint also offers Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for the SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM.
